Taken at Marks Hall estate near Colchester in Essex.
Marks Hall was originally a country house and estate .It was used as an airfield and base for British and American bombers during the Second World War. It is now open to the public and has many acres of woodland for walking ,and also an arboretum and walled garden. The colours in Autumn are always impressive
The hall was, unfortunately, demolished in the 1950`s. |
