[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Spanish]
Rabanal of the Way is a population of the province of León, Autonomous region of Castile and León, Spain. It is near to Astorga and is a part of the region of The Maragatería.

The People preserves enough good the architecture maragata, improving in the last years with the climax of the Milky Way, emphasizing the fronts of the typical houses maragatas and three existing churches in the people.

The people has big importance inside the Milky Way, to the final being of the stage that begins in Astorga, for what from the antiquity she has been covered by the rosemaries in his Way. In his proximities there are abundant rests of the Roman mining of gold, which so much abound in all the Spanish northwest.

The muleteers maragatos enjoyed big power and influence in the zone between the centuries XVIth and XIXth century. The region maragata is placed in a strategic point in the communications of the interior of the peninsula and Galicia. The proper Astorga is placed today in the middle of the national VIth. The maragatos were transporting to the interior worn saltings of fish of the Galician coast, and on having returned to his ground were loading with sausages and products of dry land. The decline of this caste began with the arrival of the railroad to Astorga in 1866.

The principal economic activity of the people in 2007 is based on the tourism and on the craft. His principal tourist claims are his typical architecture, his gastronomy (with the maragato stew as banner), and his place in the Milky Way. The restaurants most known about the people are placed in houses maragatas rehabilitated for this need.

Hi Charo,
The lovely blue sky look magnificent as it contrast beautifully with the wonderful old traditional buildings of this charming village. The narrow street winding into the distance brings great depth to this photo of clear colors and excellent details.

I like the angle you chose to show the main street in town. The weather appears hot as I have often thought spain to be in the summer months. Very colorful and detailed image and note.

Hello Charo,
A lovely capture of this charming old street under beautiful lighting. The person in the foreground adds just the right touch of vitality. Lovely golden tones under a under a lovely sky. Very good clarity.

que linda tomada dessa vila. Parece ser um lugar bucólico. A captura em perspectiva e com a ruela em curva ficou muito boa. Gostei também da luminosidade da imagem e a inclusão humana que é sempre bem-vinda nesse tipo de composição. Muito bem executada. Parabéns!

Hola Charo,
es estimulante ver estas imágenes veraniegas en esta época. Bien compuesta, con buena perspectiva y una luz y unos colores espléndidos. Me gusta esta arquitectura tradicional de la zona y el ambiente tranquilo y relajado que se respira en este pueblo, para ser pleno Agosto. El peregrino (supongo) que descansa durante su ruta a Santiago aporta un detalle muy vital.

Bonjour Charo,
Le point de vue en haut de cette rue en pente est parfait. C'est une invitation à une longue glissade dans cette rue et ses superbes maison fleuries. J'aime beaucoup les ws qui complètent la description, car une photo, c'est peu quand on a envie de montrer quelquechose de beau ou intéressant. Bravo.

Esta foto é um bonito cartão postal de Rabanal del Camino.As casas velhas em pedra bem conservadas com a calçada (chão) também em pedra trabalhada fazem deste rua um local muito interessante.

Magnífica fotografia aqui, mostrando uma paisagem urbana muito bonita. Os detalhes da arquitetura das casinhas está muito bem apanhada nessa bem composta fotografia.
