Well its a miserable as sin out side, raining, claggy and dismal. Climate warming! so long since we have had a white Xmas in East Anglia. However not so many days ago it was -6, not much I know but cold enough and because of the moisture in the air it left a white hore frost. Carrying on the hedgelaying theme I decided to put this one on as it did have that Xmas feel to it. Having finished the hedge I had a local contractor spin out the ditch. Thats hard work digging it out by yourself and prehaps only 20-50 meters a day but with this machine two km of ditch a day although careful use of modern machinery allows the wildlife to thrive in other ditches not spun out so you have to have a rotation of work. Modern machines can be very helpful if used wisely and can work well together with the more traditional management. The Robins and Blackbirds loved this, plenty of food to find

Noble Job Simon. Superb perspective with this monster gave colors to dominant white scape.
Merry XMas.

Hi Simon! Yes, great white perspective! I love the white hedge, especially as contrasting with the darker ditch. As for the tractor, it doesn't only add colour, but it's in a perfect position and linked to the ditch (and therefore the perspective). Even the man's look makes our eyes go to the ditch and to the distance again.
Yes, great shot!
As for the subject of the hedging shots, great work too! :-)
TFS and all the best,
Inés

Lovely view with snow and rain, this machine is well placed. Good pov and composition for this shot. TFS
