A foggy Day in Cologne - no.3.

Continuing yesterday´s series - i was "brave" enough to go into
the fog and crossed the Hohenzollern Bridge for the
search for the cathedral - and almost on the other side
i could finally see it, as the fog was the thickest in
the middle of the Rhine.

Once over the river the view was almost clear, just the
fog above the Rhine remained, but not for long, as the
sun came up in a spectacular rising and within a minute
the white wall was lifted.

Thanks & Merry Christmas!

Tremendous bw shot Thorsten, excellent mood and great perspective
Greetings from sunny Greece
Happy Christmas
Phil

Hello Thorsten - a quite timeless piece you have here, appears it could have been from over fifty years ago or more perhaps. The tall vertical frame works well to highlight the cathedral hidden by the fog, as does the B&W conversion to make it appear a lot more gloomy.

great image...and a great country that germany is.

Hallo Thorsten. Ein interessantes und stimmungsvolles Photo im klassischen Schwarzweißstil. Das Motiv ist sehenswert und die Komposition vorbildlich. Hervorragend. Viele Grüße und frohe Festtage, Wolfgang.

Nice series of your fog adventure, Thor, I esp. like this vertical one, with attractive lines leading to the cathedral, cheers :) Daniel

Hallo Thorsten,

Very nive photo Thorsten, good composition and i like the black and white choose for this photo.

Hello Tho
r,

We all like the fog and try to be out with a camera..Here what I like best is the way everything is soaring up in the frame. Good decision to take a vertical one it gives a great strenght overall, even the road seems to lead us up. Izzet
