very nice color nice mood

Hello Jellianne,

A very pleasant, dusky scene of the Noosa River here. The bench and darker outline of the pandanus tree is very attractive to the eye, as is the distant north shore across the water. A few little pointers to improve the photo:

I think that because the black objects are not totally silhouetted, and as a result I can see a reddish grain in front of them. It would hence be beneficial to increase contrast to a point where they are totally black and the red noise is covered up. This would in turn also make the sky more effective in terms of colour gradient change. The other thing is, I know this spot well and Mt. Cooroy, shaped like the pyramid, is only a few cm to the left of your frame. A slightly different viewpoint angle and you could have had this peak in your shot which would have been a rather interesting backdrop.

This being said it remains a very well positioned and composed photograph, one to be proud of.

Merry Christmas.

Matt
