My next stop on the Cologne in the Fog - Tour:
the Hohenzollern Bridge with the Prussian/German
Emperor Wilhelm I - the fog was so dense that you could
not see the cathedral on the other side.

Hallo aus Siegen!
Joh, wat is dat dann ... !? Das Lied "Mer losse dr Dom in Kölle" muss umgeschrieben werden. Weg ist er! Hoffentlich sind die Bläck Föös keine TE-Mitglieder ... ;-)
Wer die Szenerie dort kennt, ist über dieses Foto erstaunt. Toll - ein Hingucker!

Solche Tage muß man "fotografisch" ausnutzen,man hat nicht jeden Tag diese neblige Atmosphäre,
ausgezeichnet der Kontrast der Statue mit dem Hindergrund,
schöne Feiertage nochmal!

Very impressive "non-view" on the Cathedral !
Fog was very dense, and in this case more efficent to "erase" the cathedral from your picture than Photoshop !

Hallo Thorsten,
Caught good the effect of the fog that eats up the bridge, while the Emperor seems to wait for his shift.
Realized well, with good control of the difficult light and a high quality of image and of colors.

Hallo Thorsten,
ich entdecke gerade Deine "Bilderserie mit Nebel". Das hier ist besonders eindrücklich. Toll gemacht, die Komposition mit kupferverfärbtem Sockel, Kaiser und halber Brücke! Der blaue Himmel nimmt dem Bild die Schwere.
