Photographer’s Note
I'm running out of scans to post. Will have to do more scanninng. But thanks for looking at this one. It was cropped from a larger picture. Taken before I knew very much about photography and I took this one with too much water. But I like this cropped composition.
The picture is of two bamboo rafts on the Li River in the town of Guilin. Lifestyles have probably changed since then, so this may be a historical record of traditional clothing and modes of transportation.

It's a fantastic shot Eva. Interesting scene very well composed and magnificent deep blue. Just one little thing - the bottom (where the scan marks are evident) should be cropped.

This crop is indeed a nice composition and the subject is interesting, the difference between the two figure; one standing, rowing and looking to the right the other squatting, resting and looking to the left, makes a fine variation. The colour balance is a bit on the cyan side.
