Photographer’s Note
This is a photo of Lake Matheson, New Zealand. It's near Fox Glacier. In the morning we went to this lake and there was nothing to see because of the fog. But our bus driver told us to walk around the lake slowly. And by the time we should have finished our walk the fog would have disappeared. So we did and indeed the fog dissapeared little by little and we were rewarded with a beautiful view on the 'Mirror Lake'

Beautiful shot! The forests and the mountains are great, and the reflection is perfect, allowing us to see a mirror image of everything. The bit of cloud or mist that is on the mountains adds a lot to the scene. Nicely done!

Magnificent scenery and well worth the walk and the wait. There seems to be a lot of mountain crammed into a very compact area. I would love to visit New Zealand one day. Thanks for capturing this beautiful picture so well and sharing it with us.
Regards David
