Chain Bridge
----------------
Széchenyi lánchíd

The Chain Bridge is one of Budapest's most famous landmarks. The magnificent suspension bridge the river Danube between Pest and Buda, at the time still separate cities.
The first connection between Pest and Buda was made by the Chain Bridge or Széchenyi lánchíd, named after count Széchenyi, who took the initiative to build the bridge. In 1836 he gave the project to William Tierney Clark and Adam Clark.
William Clark had already designed two suspension bridges over the Thames; the Hammersmith Bridge in London and the Marlow Bridge. The latter is a similar albeit smaller version of the bridge William Clark would design for Budapest. The construction of the Chain Bridge was supervised by the Scottish engineer Adam Clark (not related).
The 375 meter (1230ft) long and 16 meter wide bridge, a superb engineering feat, was opened on november 20, 1849. In 1857 Adam Clark dug a 350 meter long tunnel through the Castle Hill to connect the bridge with the Buda hinterland.
The bridge ignited the economic revival that would lead to Budapest's golden century and it was one of the factors that made the provincial towns of Pest and Buda into a fast-growing metropolitan. In 1989 people demonstrated on the chain bridge for freedom and independence. Since then, the bridge has become a symbol of Hungarian liberty.

Merhabalar Burak Bey,
Çok hoş bir gece çekimi. Chain Bridge'deki arabaların farları kareye ayri bir hava katmış. Ayrıca notunuzda oldukça açıklayıcı.
Elinize sağlık.

Very nice shot! The lighting is what makes this special, as the lights on the bridge and the buildings make them show up very well, and really stand out from the background. Well done!

excellent pov, good composition with the wonderful illuminated bridge running diagonally through the photo to the buildings
in the background, only thing i can think of is a longer exposure time to get the white and red stripes of the lights of
the cars longer than they are now, this could have an even cooler effect. well done & best wishes, thor.

Merhaba Burak,
The POV is very advantageous, with the bridge almost on the diagonal makes the lighted building on the BG stand up very nicely. The light is specially well tamed, one really feels like it is lighted by the moon, without much interference from the electric lamps.
TFS, Regards, José.

Merhaba Burak,

Ne kadar güzel bir kompozisyon, bu mesur asma köprünün hem tamamini gösteriyor, hem de Tuna Nehrini. Sahiden biraz Londra'daki Hammersmith Köprüsünü andiriyor.

Simdiden Yeni Yilinizi Tebrik ederim,

Hello Burak,
I had not seen a picture of the famouıs chain Bridge from this angle. Excellent vantage point ( Probably you got there with the funicular ) But you were there at the blue hour and this is fantastic: A flawless picture -
I wish you a great Sunday - Izzet

Beau travail.

Hello Burak
Good point of view, maybe the best there is to show this superb bridge. The time of day is also welll choosen as it puts the emphasis on the bridge and the building in the back.

Well done
Charles

Hello Burak,
This is a great night shot from this high POV allowing us to watch not ony this fantastic bridge and the city on background but also the near side of the bridge with all the traffic.
The light on the bridge and the huge cathedral on backgrond is just amazing and brings a very special mood to the photo along with the low light and darker colours of the night.
A beautiful photo my friend.
Cheers.
Paulo

Merhaba Burak,
The wonderful POV of your pict is exactly the same as mine, but in colours (I hope that temperature in November was more benign that it was in january!). Really nice night shot of this omnipotent Bridge!
