[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
According to the newspapers, today is the start of the rainy season. It's a pretty dry country except for June and July, when an incredible amount of water falls from the sky, causing many deaths every year.
I took this from a restaurant window while waiting for a break in the downpour. The break didn't come.
The vertical streaks visible in the dark areas are also rain.

I like this quite a lot. You have done well to use the mail box as an anchor for the photo, then to use the rain and the splash from the car, as well as the car itself to give us involving motion.

I can remember the rainy season in Korea, when it comes, water levels can rise so quickly it is frightening.

Incredible. The rain is really something here and you really caught the moment here. The splash, the car, the mailbox...everything comes together to make a truly wonderful composition. Very well done!

The poor, red mailbox – fortunately it isnīt facing the street. And fortunately you took this excellent shot – itīs very nice to see some rain shots among all sunshine shots. I like how there are also many nice, little elements in this shot: the umbrella, the red rear light, the yellow-white bus...

Very well advised shot, at the right moment, with many details to catch our attention. Shows exactly what it is. Very good motion capture too.

Very original idea, the splash converges to the mailbox is especially nice. Very well done.

Seen well. Good idea, taken very well in photograph and a good composition. Strange effect water is the car.

h aha ha ha ha.

I've had the rain come through the umbrella.

I've seen mountain bikes (the Korean clunky cheap ones) washed off down the street...

Yep, when it rains, it RAINS!

Good shot - everything is as it should be, nice wall of water shooting up from the tyres, nice red postbox to act as a contrasting reference point.

Well captured, and just at the right moment. Great detail of the pouring rain. Good choice of using the post box at the foreground of the shot. Nice colours considering the weather. Well done.

wow! superb wetty shot;-)) lol i like this blur as opposed to the sharp focus of the mailbox, and what a splach.. i hope you were using a telelens;-)) lol great shot!

Very good picture indeed. I like the compo with colours and movement. Only the post box seems to be stoical. Good feeling and atmosphere. Great.

Way to go, my friend!
