Photographer’s Note
This was a bulb exposure done on a tripod. The colours are a result of the pre-dawn sky and a dim tungsten light on the nearby boathouse which hit only the dock.

Hi Josh,
Beautiful picture with Blue and looks bit dramatic but increases of blue tone too much.

Hello Josh,
That's a stunning effect. It makes the dock look like a slab of gold standing out against the deep blue of the water.
It's also an unusual but effective composition: my initial thought was that there was perhaps a little too much blue sky, but looking at it longer I think it works that way.

Interesting "bulb" work, Josh. I love the yellow light on the wood giving a warm contrast to the dark blue. Nice way how you lead us out to the dark night by adding the piece of boat landing. Excellent. I really like it. Barbara.

Lovely image where the use of the deck in the foreground works well to lead the eye into the scene. Did you use tungsten white balance which would account for the strong blue?
