EDSA or Epifanio delos Santos Avenue is the main artery of metro manila. it start in balintawak, quezon city right at the end of the north luzon expressway and passes through san juan, mandaluyong and makati all the way to magallanes before entering the south luzon expressway.
edsa, used to be know as highway 54 plays host to the most number of flyovers (ibabaw), underpass (ilalim). bus companies offer signboards that tell commuters their routes. usually, the quicker buses have the most ibabaws and ilalims in their signboards. meaning they would be avoiding major bottlenecks like quezon avenue, kamuning, cubao and shaw boulevard.
the MRT also traverse through edsa, making my route home easier. the mrt is from the north avenue station to taft station. it is supposed to be connected to the lrt and later to the mrt along aurora.
i took this picture in the ortigas mrt station walkway. you can see the lights of the holidays as more and more vehicles are making their way in this busy highway.
i used the bulb setting and set my holga on the railings. waited for 20 seconds before releasing. with a whole lot of prayers, this came about. enjoy. |
