[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The River Thames drains a catchment area of ~14,000 km^sq.

The Thames is 346 km in length.

Along it's course many small streams and rivers enter it's side. The River Crane is s small London side-stream which runs for 14 km before entering the main river at Isleworth. It traverses back-gardens, public parks and paths, as well as many allotments where sub-urban green-fingered folk grow leeks and carrots, cauliflowers and lettuces.

Here is a little weir. In front of the picture are hundreds of sheds housing forks and spades, flower pots and seeds, with amazing gardens full of edible produce, even at this time of the year - winter. Behind were dog walkers, a few kids kicking a football about on the green, and a guy playing about with his remote controlled car.

Hi Casper, what a stuning and beautiful shot of this water stream, I understand that it joins the Mighty Thames at some point but here it looks so peaceful and beautiful specially with those black and white reflections, I also like your composition and POV, well done, thanks for sharing it with us, regards, Joao Salas

A nice presentation in B&W. The slow shutter speed is also a nice effect here.
Well done.
