En effet cette fille a un regard qui fait toute la valeur de la photo.
Bravo Nan.

What a face, what a look. A very good catch of the mirror of the soul, the eyes. Congratulations.

Beautiful portrait!

Great portrait of this beautiful solemn young girl, Nan. I find the crop of her arm a bit disturbing - I'd be tempted to crop the top altogether, although I know the water container is part of her story.

En découvrant en imagette cette photo, ma première réflexion a été en français :
" Oh! ces yeux ", ce n'est qu'après que j'ai vu le titre ;-)
Quel regard ! Superbement mis en valeur par la photo, bravo !

Nan
Very very Good portrait with great sharppnes
Very good cropping

Great Portrait pitty about the the colors, would make it less ' In memory of ....' but that's a strict personal view.

This one's a winner! Fantastic shot, with colour and comp just right!

Very nice portrait that conveys the sadness of the girl. This is a great photo - and it's natural and full of emotions.
One of my favorite!..

I agree about your comment about the eyes being the most important element of this image. You've converted to B&W nicely... the tones are very good and so is the exposure and lighting.

One small nit... I would've liked to see a bit more of what she was carrying, but overall a very strong portrait.

Hi Nan,
a very sensitive and beautiful picture.
nice tones and composition.
Well done.

Tom

great photo! just curious..have you tried to maintain the colors of the eyes (with the rest b/w)? Or maybe even make them blue? Could be some nice fx, or maybe not.

The title, of course, is right. And the photo does not needs comments. Great.

Nan:
Very nice portrait. Did you do any post processing?

Completely adorable...and great touch with the sepia tone, it really made it stand out.
