Indeed Isa, it looks as taken right out of a movie/dream/tale. The best things are the huge snow flakes, the persons hiding their heads into their shoulders to "avoid" the snow. Even better is how the flash worked out and how you lighted up the bench on the right. You definitely did some pp to light it and I think you had to do it because it really balances the composition. It's a very neat piece of work!
Winter came about 1 month earlier this year. We already have about 2,5 meters in some places... Another 35 centimeters coming down tomorrow!!

I like these butterflies of snow. You are right, it does remind Andersen's tales.

Sooo snowy, soooo cold and fantastically moody!
I love this photo, its flakes, its darkness, its freezing chilling atmosphere. I can almost feel the cold entering down inside my neck!

The foot traces, the faded flash light on the tree, the frozen bank are perfect details. One of your loveliest...

It seems (at least to me!) a romantic painting, the men in front of the nature, under the cold snow. It's very beautiful, the subtle light and the soft color (impresive yellow) are wonderful. It's a powerful image! Thanks!

Hi Isabela,

I haven't experienced snow but this sure looks damn cold.
About the image, through the thumbnail, i thought this was in B/W. Positioning of the 2 subjects is good with the yellow bag bringing the color to the image. The bench is a welcome addition.

Yes the flash worked well here highlighting the falling snow flakes and those footprints, not to many not to few. Another dimension.
Almost black and white but I think it would not work so well in that format. What I also find good is the way the background objects are just seen in the dismal darkness
