The Shenandoah River merges at the far end with the Potomac River. At this location it travels by Harpers Ferry, WV. The picture was taken from while on the railroad bridge.

Great shot! I like the composition of this very much, with the bridge on the left and the pillars of the ruined brigde on the right. Great colour too, and this has a very good sense of space. Well done!
