Photographer’s Note
We had taken the jeep to the top of tiger hill to usher in the new years first sunrise as it lit up Kanchenjunga, the worlds third tallest peak.
India is full of internal tourists and these chaps, like many others, only wanted their picture taken with this fine vista.

Hello TWJ,
A good portrait of those chaps, it is too bad we can not see the Mountains clearer, but the distance to subject is so close that the F stop needed would have to be something like F100.
Excellent portrait, wish I were there to see the Great Peaks...

you should have taken this photo with some more wider angle, because 2 people have been cut out from the frame.

Hi TWJ.
I like this photo,i like the idea,but I agree arijitsaha wahclellaspirit,you should have taken it far away,in such a way that between subject and mountains more size contrast and more space should be felt..,anyway it's a fantastic shot very evocative..Thanks for sharing
