[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Venice is flooded with spritz (a very bitter aperitive), red wine (excellent even in jug), water which makes the city so unique and love of course!
Here, gondolas (long and thin boats) aren't trival means of transportation but vessels introducing passenger to a fantasy shared by millions of other loving couples...taking them to the end of love ;)

As I am writing this note, two songs come to my mind and are mixing up "Take me to the moon" and "Dance me to the end of love". I chose to display the latter lyrics as to me, it suits better Venice mood.

LEONARD COHEN LYRICS

"Dance Me To The End Of Love"

Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin
Dance me through the panic 'til I'm gathered safely in
Lift me like an olive branch and be my homeward dove
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love
Oh let me see your beauty when the witnesses are gone
Let me feel you moving like they do in Babylon
Show me slowly what I only know the limits of
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love

Dance me to the wedding now, dance me on and on
Dance me very tenderly and dance me very long
We're both of us beneath our love, we're both of us above
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love

Dance me to the children who are asking to be born
Dance me through the curtains that our kisses have outworn
Raise a tent of shelter now, though every thread is torn
Dance me to the end of love

Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin
Dance me through the panic till I'm gathered safely in
Touch me with your naked hand or touch me with your glove
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love

Your photo and your note, Prisley, are both very well composed.
The 'title' caught my eye first.
The first line of the song talks about the 'burning' violin and this watches perfectly with the 'burning' colours in the background, that also contrast nicely with the darker foreground.
Well seen and framed.

Hello Prisley,
This is a beautiful Venice photo,
I liked the light on the back side. Colors are nice.
Best regards,
Tulay

Prisley,
perfect match between the song and your beautiful picture. The classic pov works well and you've done a good job.
Thanks for sharing it and regards
Cheers
Igor

Hi Prisley,

somewhat unusuall view of Venice, but that's a plus. Fine compo with color contrast between gondolas and sun lit Venice.

Hello Prisley,

A well composed image with excellent chromatic contrast between orange and blue! I wish the horizon line was just a little bit higher in the frame but this is not a mistake but just my preference! It's good to see the textures in the sky! Much better than a clear sky! Thank you for sharing!

With Friendly Regards,
Eddie

Bonsoir Prisley,
Tu as réussi, bravo.
belle photo.
Hubert.

Hello Prisley!
Wonderful picture from Venice! I saw this city only one time, in summer, but I think in winter must be beautiful too.
Good colours and light in your composition and lovely perspective!
Best regards!
Lili

Very nicely composed landscape Prisley, you have caught the light just right, keep up the good work.

bonsoir Prisley
Pascale

Hello Prisley. A motive as from the picture book. The blue boats in the foreground and the silhouette of the houses in the background. The colors complement each other very well. Beautifully and descriptive. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hi Prisley,
I look at your photo of Venice humming the beautiful song by Cohen. Yes, indeed, it suits very well. Wonderful composition of warm colors of the city and deep blue of gondolas.

Cheers

Hi Prisley,

hey, you are lover of Cohen´s song texts just as me ;-)

Take care, Ivana

Hello Prisly,
Your photo is a little soft (not by much though) but the soft lighting and composition is excellent! I like like how the blue water and the blue boats in the shade contrast with the rich warm hues of the famous Venetian architecture in the distance. Very nice work!
Stan
