[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a fishermen boat in the old Akko port (or Acre).
This is very ancient port that was used through the years by the Moslems, Crusaders, Ottomans and more.
Now this port is used mostly by fishermen and as tourists place with a lot of restaurants. This part of the city is very interesting for travelers, it has something special in its narrow streets and old structured buildings.
In this picture I used the soft light of the late afternoon to get this tones, the water were very interesting for the reflection, hope you will like it

Hi Elroyie, those fishing boat is wonderful sharp with very soft colours, excellent composition, I see a lovely water painting.

Oh, I like very much the refection here and the old aspect of this boat. You were there at the best time to take this picture for the colors. Well done, Elroyie.

PS: Thanks a lot for your words on my picture of today.

Yes Elroyie, the warm tones in this pic work very well here - very warm and atmospheric. The reflection in the water is wonderful and the sharpness spot on. I wish though that you framed it a little different to include the top of the mast. Anyway, very fine work.

A very well taken, well captured old boat, Elroye. You made a very good job with the reflection and the light. My only remark is the cropped mast. But apart from that - good shot.

Stunning light, colours and sharpness, Elroyie.

Ici le polarizant rend les teintes plus douces et son faible dosage permet de garder le reflet du sujet sur l'eau.
J'aime bien cette image elle respire le calme.
Bravo David.

Elroyie
Very good shot
Good colors and very good sharpness
I love the reflection of the blue in the blue water
What happened to the mast ???

The quality of the capture is very good with both colors and details nicely rendered. Yet it feels like too much for the eye to absorb. I could imagine Yitzhak or Olli moving in to focus on some of the interesting details of this boat. I could imagine a wider shot that included the entire mast and perhaps the mooring lines. This is one of those challenging images of which we've been talking where finding the angles and lines to make the image comprehensible and satisfying is difficult. I like it, but it doesn't sing to me.

Belle image Elroyie, de ce vieux bateau de pêche, son reflet dans l'eau est magnifique, belle réalisation. Bravo.

This fisher dosen't seems to be as big on the tumbnail - but with the fisherman it surely grows - I like the fine reflections you got as well - thanks Elroyie.

Good image, but too heavily cropped, & too centered. Try to use the 1/3, 2/3 ratio.

Superbe reflexion de ce bateau sur l'eau ainsi que ces tons pastels?Bravo Elroyie et merci.Philippe

it's a pity we don't see the top of the boat on the picture, but the colours and the precision make it wonderful anyway. as you say in the comment, you used the light of the end afternoon and you did a great job!
