Hello Ian,

I have visited Townsville long ago, but do not remember much. It is time to visit NQLD again! I love the streaking light/shadow effect generated in this striking image. Good use of colour and saturation, and reflective patches of wet sand. Good to see the people out-and-about enjoying the sun. We need to see more pictures on TE of this great state.

Hi Ian,
The best feature of this photo is your use of pastel colors. Event in the thumbnail format, i was attracted by those soft tones. The tiny figures add charm, and the parachutes are the clues for a nice timing. Compo is very good as well.

I like the flattened perspective from the zoom & the repetition of the sandbars & lagoons. Superb sidelight, with good colour & sharpness. Tfs!

Hello Ian,
A nice capture of this beach with its sweeping curve that takes the eye to the background mountains. The walkers and parachutes make for a very nice ambiance when combined with the soft light and colours. Very good clarity.

Bonjour Ian,
Très beau paysage du littoral avec un bel arrière-plan au relief bien marqué. Les jeux de lumières et d'ombres créés par l'éclairage latéral, ajoutés aux différentes couches d'eau qui recouvrent le rivage, forment de belles arabesques. Autre point fort, les voiles apportent une bonne touche de jaune.

Hello Ian,

Great and very pleasant beach picture.
The different curves of the water together with the mountains in background give a wonderful composition.
Also the peoples on the beach are a good addition.

I like the very eye catching pattern oof light and reflections on the beach.
A zoomed view on the beach, cropping out all the rest, would become a sort of abstract picture.

Olá Ian, beautiful contrast bettween light and shadows, wet and dry sand. The place seems quite nice and we can feel a pleasant atmosphere, with people spread around enjoying their outdoor activities. Good shot.

Beautiful view of this long and wide beach. I like the sideway light that creates long shades and the two people walking. The delicate colours remind us of an acquarello.
