Beautiful shot. Works well in B&W

Nice use of the black and white to strenthen the sence of history and timelessness.

wow! a brilliant b/w composition... the pictures crystal clear... simply love your subject!

Beautiful B/W picture sugerating old good times. It could also be 100 years ago. Good composition, and good idea for make it in black and white only.

Bravo.

Very fine composition you with the statue and carrige - perhaps did you crop a bit to much at the left side.
I like however - thanks Ioan.

A good composition, Ioan. Good choice of B/W. I think the photo needs more space on the left and tilted slightly to the right.

Bien vu Ioan

Beautiful realization in black and white, there is just in the composition an element which disturbs me, that is the horses which ridge on the left edge of the photograph, it would have been preferable that the barouche moves from left to right, for to have a splendid image.

Hi Ioan, good choice to convert this picture in B&W, gives an idea if times, long gone, and that fits the image.
The only thing that I don't like so much, is that the horses are walking out of the frame instead of into the frame. If you had composed it woith the carriage on the right side of the picture, you would have had a much stronger picture.

nice composition. slightly oversharpened for my taste though. the choice of black and white suits very well. good shot.

Nice picture and good in B&W. You could as well have used "Vienna 1804" as title. Nevertheless, I must agree with Kaj. It would have been better to give the horses some space to move.

Good B/W, light and contrast is good, the composition is not so good, it is to tight crop in the left side, and it have been better, if the photo was taken, then the horse was on the way into pic. insted of the way out.
Last thing, the photo should have been rotatet a bit to the right.

I give 1 point, you have to wait, out fore today.

regards Kaj Nielsen

Hi Ioan, a great choice for a B&W photo, very nice scene, maybe just add a little space in front of the horses and it would be perfect, well presented, thanks for sharing.

Gorgeous shot. The contrast here is absolutely perfect, which is terrific especially for being your first B&W shot. I usually prefer that the subject does not butt up against the frame so closely, but this does not bother me here. Well done.

good choice in black and white! well composed, nice tones! it looks very old, with the old carriage and builing.

Hey, Ioan,
Very good considering it is your first b/w work. Bravo!
May I suggest taking b/w photos of places in Romania - as I think these would be great!?
Romania is supposed to be very beautiful country, so please more photos from there!
;-D

Good result for your first b&w, Ioan. It does enhance the "classical" look of the horse carriage going in front of the old Viennese architecture. A bit tight on the left; ideally the horses would have a little more space to breathe (and to pull the carriage into). Lovely setting though, thanks for sharing.

Bogdan.
