[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a close up of the Sydney Opera House 'sails' architecture taken while standing outside the Opera House (but up the stairs), with the sun shining just behind it. There is also a jet trail painting the sky - and I have used a polarizing filter to pronounce the clouds and help darken and colour the sky.

Hi David,
An unusual PoV on the Opera House, sharpness, light and colors are good quality. We get to see nice details of the structure, which i hadn't seen before..
Cheers
Laurent

So this is what it looks like up close?
I thought it to be more white! Great details, this way you can really see what danish people can design:))
simple and beautiful

Hi David.
A stunning shot into the light. The polariser helped with the sky and clouds. The detail on the surfaces of the sails is marvellous. I like the way the vapour trail comes down to meet the 'V'. Very good work.
Regards,
Andrew

Roger

If not for the jet trail and the clouds, your work here is a graphical impression David with the sun glow right in the intersection of the receding lines. I imagined, you might have taken another shot of the sky reflection on the panels.

Bani

Yo Dave!

I nice shot using the natural contures of the shape. It's also nice how you have the light scattered over the tiles creating an increased texture...

Cheers

Hi David!
Fascinating detail shot of this famous building. The well chosen POV emphasizes very effective on the filigree, dynamic roof structure. Colors and lighting are excellent also.

Andreas

Now... That's how I want to see the great architectural shots in photography...
Honestly... Your photo is an architectural design itself...

Bravo, pal.
Art against an art...That's the way to go...

Splendid

Very interesting architectural poto. And very good tones and sky and perspective also. Thanks for share us.

Hi David
Lovely pattern of the Opera House sails and an interesting angle. The grey sky contrasts well with the ochre colours of the structure and the jet stream is a fortunate bonus. Congrats!
Cheers

Hi David
This one of the more unique shots I have seen of the opera house. I wish I had thought of something like this when I was there. Good stong grahics here and the jet trail adds a nice touch of interest.
Nicely done.
Phil

Bonjour David
