I went once on a photo safari in Tanzania with a very good scientist who was studying insects, and who was really interested by what your picture show. Do you know there is a species of dung beetle that can be found only in elephant's droppings ? Weel, now you know, and my scientist friend was really really eager to collect them. He would stop the car at every pile we would see and would go forraging in the dung, and our guide was just going mad.
You can see the beetles in your picture. They are actually quite pretty, with green-silvery body that shines a lot, like gemstones.

Mmm, I'm not sure this qualifies as a critique, so if you don't mind I won't rate your picture, but I wanted to share the anecdote. Funny picture anyway ! :^)
