Photographer’s Note

These three trees have spent all their life very close together (too close, actually) and now, after such a long time, they do not stand anymore one each other; they are trying to go away taking one's own way, but unsuccessfully... The three hurted pines can be seen in the park of villa Pamphili in Rome.

technical: ISO 100, 1/160, 1:3.3, f=9.3mm (42mm-eq.)

P.S. I'd like to answer the comments I got with a Workshop that show a closer view of the subject with a different light. Give it a look...

Hello Marco,

This is an excellent photograph.

The various elements in the image are arranged to form a very pleasing composition.

The FG bench and its shadow anchor the picture well, and the three trees at their various angles are placed exactly right within the frame.

Great sharpness and colours.

villa pamphili offre sempre molti sounti fotografici , questo ne e' un esempio,
bella composizione molto pulita con il nostro bel cielo di Roma ,
credo pero' che hai esagerato con il contrasto vedo la siepe molto bianca .

PEr chi a Roma ama la natura e il verde a due passi da casa, credo che Villa Pamphili sia il massimo. A tratti sembra di trovarsi in una riserva naturale e non all'interno di una meropoli: un luogo eccezionale che come dice anche Giorgio offre ottimi spunti fotografici. Buona immagine, anche e io avrei evitato la siepe un po' pacchiana rispetto al prato con gli alberi.

Bellissima composizione, semplice ma molto efficace. Niente sembra fuori posto, il tutto con buona luce e colori.
Contrasto molto accentuato, quasi al limite.
