The lone cypress tree on that rocky ridge granted you a very beautiful image, with that modest tone of light and beautiful colors. The sea surface, the sky and the rocks all have very nice textures. A quite moody landscape. I like it...

Hello Amber,

What a fabulous shot of the Lone Cypress on the 17-Mile Drive. This really is one of the finest images I've seen since digital cameras came out. The composition, perspective, colors and resolution are all exquisite. I was a post doc at University of California-Berkeley when my family and made that memorable drive from San Francisco to LA, passing through this area on the way. By the way, congratulations for finishing your Ph.D. I remember your wonderful shots of the hot-air balloons, I believe, while you were still working on your Ph.D.
