I went home for Thanksgiving this year and the guy who owns the restaraunt where my sister works closes it to the public and invites his employees and their friends and family to have dinner at the restaraunt. He cooks a big bunch of it and people bring side dishes and desserts. There was roast beef, roast pork, two kinds of turkey, meatballs, sausage balls, squash, sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, salad, green beans, casseroles, two kinds of stuffing, cold shrimp and crab claws, several desserts, a cheese tray... beer, wine, sodas, water... It was truly a mad dinner. As we were leaving he packed up "to go" boxes with mountains of leftovers. I wanted to first post this shot of the dinner and then I have pictures of some of the people who attended. It was a wonderful holiday.

Hello Shelly,
Thanks alot I was gonna go to bed with out a snack but after seeing this photo fat chance. Very fancy looking feast your camera does great justice with meats looking juicy and the trimmings bright and cheery. Wonderful holiday scene.

It looks like he emptied out his display case and put it all on the table. It is not good for me to look at this before I've had my Sunday breakfast. Anyway great shot.

Mouthwatering Shelly. A lower angle shot would be my preference but you composed it brilliantly here.

No rating - I'm on diet >:-(

Looks good and plenty to me! Reminds me of the time when I used to play bridge tournaments in American bases in Germany. Sundays there always used to be a huge brunch...delicious.
Have a nice day, John.
