Hello Karen,
The picture was to good to let it untouched. I removed the cable for you, just as some other small adjustments.
This is such a nice picture with that warm glow of sunlight right at the side of the house. It brings great contrast which i like a lot. So hopefully my ws brings something extra in your view...

Vieille maison emplie de nostalgie. J'aime sa construction avec ce bow-window, ce toit couvert de tuiles de bois. Il est difficile d'imaginer que cela put être un hôpital.
Une maison pleine de charme. Belle mise en image.

Hi Karen,
Lovely old home looking so warm on cozy in this winter landscape. Beautiful relaxing shadows gently resting on the pure white snow. Very vivid blue sky to go along with the clear colors and excellent sharpness to this image.

Nice warm colours striking the house. A pity that you have a cable in teh fg. There was no chence to avoid it?

Hello Karen,
A good composition of this lovely old house. Excellent light and colours and good clarity. The power line is a bit disconcerting and I think Henk's workshop is a distinct improvement as regards this and lightening the shadows. Nevertheless, the original is still a very nice image. You just need some practice, that's all. Courage.

You have caught this house with some beautiful warm light which enhances the wood siding. Yeah it is too bad about the power line but that would be hard to clone out. Well done.

it's good to be back and I LOVE the light in this shot. Great view of this lovely old structure and I especially enjoy the way the color changes from dark to light from the bottom of the house going up. Nice picture and great colours ! The snow in your country makes great views and landscapes ! Be careful, you publish yours pictures with too hard JPG compression, it deteriorate the details. :o/
