Hey, Karen!
What wonderful light! The colors are just beautiful and I love the contrast of the warm brick against the blue sky. I might have cloned out the powerlines, but that's just a pet peeve of mine. Beautifully done! Hope you are well!! Warmest regards,
Shelly

Great light on the old house. The orange tones compliment the blue sky but the skies are always blotchy. I don't know if you are shooting at a low jpeg or what but the blue skies in a lot of your shots need some post processing. The images could be over sharpened as there is pixelating along the edges of the roof line etc. Anyway I like the composition.

Hi Karen,
Wonderful use of light generates beautiful soft shadows on the lovely old porch down to the fresh white snow. Excellent details to the old brick. I love the old fashioned upstairs porch.

Hi Karen,
The blue sky really makes the orangey colour on the house stand out. I like the detail on the house and the fence in front. They have certainly done a good restoration job.

Wanda

Hi Karen
Old beauty but still stand proud...
Good presenting
Cheers,Braca

I would not say this house is 100 years old. They have done a real good restoration job. Love the colours enhanced by the low light. Well done.

Hello Karen,
I like the lighting in this composition which brings lovely warm tones to the brickwork and helps highlight the detail in the building generally. Good tones and clarity. Like Shelly I would probably clone out the power lines; also, there seems to be quite a lot of noise in the sky.

Hi Karen, a very nice house to spent such a time, it has an impressive illumination and nice contrast.
Cheers
Evan

Hello Karen,
The colour contrast captuured my eye!
The bricks go so well with the blue sky, and it is a good thing fine old houses like this is taken care of...
A classic composiyion with good lines!

Hello Karen,
this one is really great. The mixture of stone, brick, wood and cob is extraordinary. It was well worth waiting for the right light and time. A picture like this just make me want to travel to see the place by myself.
Kind Regards.
Stella

Hi Karen,

First want to thank you for all the kind critiques you have given me lately. Secondly, let me apologize for taking so long to respond to all of them. I read your bio and I commend you for being such a great mother to those children. God will have a special place for you.

About your photo, I really like the warm light that you captured on the house. That type of light can make anything look good. I like the shape of the house as well. The light pole and the electrical wires are a little distracting but that is pretty hard to deal with in this day and time with wires crossing everything!

Have a great day,

Mel
