This must be my evening for critiquing silhouettes of ships against a dramatic sunsets. In any event, you've presented a blazing sea and sky in this image from last May. I tried to guess where the photograph was taken, but realized I failed when I read your note.

The sky is definitely colourful and very dramatic. The ship add a nice break to the immense red background. The details are very sharp here and overall the atmosphere is very appealing. Thanks Tom :-)

The red-orange colour in the sky and its reflection on the water is stunning. Amazing sky and it makes a very good background for that ferry boat. NIce picture and I like the angle and the point of view.

hi tom! haha, i sense a situation where someone might say that the colors are not natural here, but we both know, these sights happen. a nice, intense low-sun capture of the boat. i would have put the horizon a bit lower though. more on the classical 1/3 line, giving more space to the burning sky.

Hi tom,
Nice sunset glow here overlooking this car and passenger carrier vessel. As a personal opinion on this one, Tom, I might have created a panorama showing considerably less water in the foreground and keeping the greatest color impact from the sky. Just a thought. Nice work and TFS. Gerald

Wow! Tom, you're the only person to deliver repeatedly these orange tones. It seems to me that it is something specific for the East Coast, at least I never see such a color feast in the Central Valley. The boat is a good element to contrast with this spetacular colors.
