Photographer’s Note
I have worked on this image quite a bit according to suggestions in critiques. I tried to remove the blue color cast, and lessened the brightness a lot - I started to feel as we had to squint into the glare of the photo in the same way as they were looking in to the sun. I feel this is an improvement, as now we can better see the expressions and stances.

You did a wonderful job here Jan! Congratulations, this is much improved over the original. You greatly reduced the brightness while retaining the details in the faces. One can't do better than that. Good work.

Nice shot, Jan. It's tough shooting dark skin in that kind of light, but you've done a nice job with the PP. Great expressions on each one of them, and the corroguated house makes a nice background.

Keep on taking picturesof people Janet. You have a good timing. You capture the essence of raw emotions and expressions. I like the colors here. An dthe faces. Very candid.

A good tri-portrait & daily life shot. The rubber tyres have sinister connotations with old Sth Africa.
