| This century old farmstead is located close to the town of Sheguiandah in northeastern Manitoulin Island. Manitoulin which means "spirit island" in the native Ojibwe language, is the largest fresh water island in the world. Within it's coastline of 1600 kms, there are 110 lakes for pleasure and recreation surrounded by countless farms and forest. Access to the island is reached via Highway 6 and swing bridge to the north at Little Current and by the ferry boat Chi-Cheemaun to the south at South Baymouth. |
