| These 2 images where taken on the same day in Tlacalula, a small yet vibrant town near the city of Oaxaca. The Sunday market there is one of the best and most colorful in the area. As much as I hate photographing peoples backs, the women in the colorful dress that lights up the market, prefer not to have their photos taken. The image of the "aprons" are more than just aprons, they are a part of their everyday dress and I have been told they feel naked without them. The atmosphere of this particular market is very impressive! |
