Beautiful fall colour on this red maple next to the old cemetery in Holderness, New Hampshire. It was a perfect fall day, with a crisp, blue sky that provided a nice contrast to the deep red leaves.
Holderness is a quiet village in the Lakes Region of central New Hampshire, situated between Little Squam and Squam Lakes, the setting for the film "On Golden Pond."
