[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Nous venions d'explorer le fond d'un fjord dans la région de Nuuk, la capitale du Groenland (sachant que le Groenland appartient encore un peu administrativement et juridiquement au Danemark). En cette fin de journée, le "brasch" (les morceaux d'icebergs fondus) commençaient à s'agglomérer sur l'eau miroir de la mer du Labrador. Il n'était que 18:30, en ce 14 septembre et le soleil jetait un dernier voile rose sur le paysage. (je me permets de préciser que je n'ai fait aucun travail de traitement de couleur sur cette photo, elles sont 100 % naturelles).

It was 06:30 pm on last September 14 in the area of Nuuk (Greenland). The ice is running on the mirror of the Labrador Sea in this fjord. And there is no post-work on this picture: the pink is 100% natural.

Quelle belle lumière !
Bien que la "regle des 1/3" est ici bien respectée, j'aurais peut-être coupé une partie du ciel pour rammener la photo à un format de type panoramique.

Magnifique scène avec cette lumière particulière, à la fois froide et chaleureuse, révélant les morceaux d'icebergs flottant dans une eau assez calme pour relfeter le reste de l'environnement. Superbe !

I have never seen your pictures before, strange but true. Really a shame because you have some real good ones in your gallery and i was impressed on some by quality, colour handling and above all in light and composition. That last part we also see here. An excellent colour toning with a very good composition with the ice in the foreground and the v-shape mountains in the back. In between wonderful light which makes this image really pop-out among the flood of images we see here every day...thank you.

Hi Marie Ange,
This image has such a peaceful, stillness to it and provides us with a glimpse of this amazing ice-filled landscape. The reflection of the pink sky in the foreground water area gives a fantastic colour symetry to the phot and further enhances the perfect view. Very well captured.
