[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sydney is a beautiful gleaming city on the water. It's usually sunny and colorful, but when I visited one of the largest monsoons in decades had moved in. This is right before the deluge, right before the clouds let go of massive rains and wind that whipped up the harbour. The streets ran like rivers and it was almost impossible to walk anywhere without becoming totally drenched. I was impressed with Sydney's architecture, gardens, parks and the beauty of the coastline...the city is fantastic for photos. I'd like to go back.

Hello Ted,

An excellent composition, combining city-scape with water and boats. The diagonals of the quays within the picture are used to great effect.

Those red notices in the FG, and the ominous grey clouds in the BG give a great perspective to the image.

Sharp and clear throughout.

Regards,

Peter.

darling harbour,s grace is really a darling,s one.
