Photographer’s Note
Pony are usually used for carrying food supply along with other trekking materials in Dzongri and Gochala trek. Although Jow (mixed breed of Yak and Cow) is also used for carrying but pony are usually fast and can take more loads then jow. They are the tough ones when it comes for carrying goods at high and steep places around Sikkim.

Great choice of POV. This choice makes the composition very good making the horse looks like a statue. I also like your DOF choice with the bg unsharp. Congratulations and TFS

Namaste
Good focus on the little nice pony and the background is very impressive.Only one thing, the pony is too much centered :)
Looking your gallery,I wonder how I missed it till now

I always love a good horse shot, and this one with a lovely background! I like that the pony is looking right at you, and the light is good too, illuminating the horse's right. I tend to agree about the centering, please see my workshop.

Hi Lopshang,
Superb place and I like the idea behind your image, I like as well how your low position makes the pony stand out over the background mountains. Maybe I'd crop a bit of foreground.
Have a nice day JY

Hello Lopshang,
Hahaha, just saw your 'beauty and the beast'. That's a funny one that brought a smile on my face. But photographically, this one is standing out for sure. Great contrast between the horse and the background. I get a song of the Carpenters in my head now... 'I'm on the, top of the world, lookin' down on creation...'
I might have swung the camera a bit more to the left, just to get the whole composition a bit more off-center. But I also like it as is. Nice!!

Dennis

Hi Lopshang,
This is a very good photo, i would really love to be on places like this, usually is said that we shouldn't put the subject on the center of the frame, but that as we can see here they aint always right.
Thanks so much for your nice comments, and for sharing your photos

Hello Lopshang,
Wonderful colours, and it is the first time I see a horse portrait in surroundings like this!
Maybe the horse is a bit central in the composition, but the light is great and so is the feeling of depth!

Hello Lopshang,
Very interesting picture with excellent contrast between warm illuminated foreground and white tops in background. I would shift only pony further from centre.
Cheers!
