My last photo on a coastal walk, just before the sun went down. This is Sunderland Lighthouse, looking a little weather-beaten. What I loved about this landscape was the soft lighting in the clouding sky, and the two surfers in the foreground, making their way home. The photo captures a transitional period.

Hi Fiona,
what an interesting place! Although there are people in water, I have an impression of cold weather. Maybe a little bit more space on the left side would help the composition.
Regards, Miroslav

Very beautiful graphic effect! The presence of people is a "more"! Amazing ambiance... very well rendered! TFS so a very good shot Fiona, Regards, alain

Hi Fiona,
quite an interesting mood and light you have captured here...good management of the light ...I don't know if more space on the left would help the compo, I like it as it is, as it shows very well the long curve of the pier to the lighthouse with many details. Light is beautiful and the two people give it the final touche. Well done, I like this a lot!

Wonderful pov, that curve looks amazing and the little people in the sea give the overall flavor. Excellent.

Hi Fiona,
Vry ientersting shot.Excellent POV .. Like the curve of the pier leading to the beautiful lighthouse. Nice detail of leaving the two people on the shot.
Like this picture a lot.
Bravo

very interesting photo. If there were no people, the impression of absolute solitude would be ultimate. Maybe I´d add some more contrast or lighten up the image, but maybe then it would lose that "end of the world" mood...
Anyway, I like it very much.
Adrian
