Photographer’s Note
Catagory ; Daily Life...that's excactly what it is. These type of photos I like best. Just observing and then 'click'. To me it just gives a good impression of the atmosphere here. I am not even sure if this is Luanda., might be Lobito, Sumbe, or, for that matter any other African town. Guess it's the 'laid-backness'I like. Photo didn't need too much work either. Just a little higlighting on the sky/clouds, and I couldn't resist working a little on the shadow of the two boys.
It's a photo like this that gives me the 'itch' to get back on a plane and get to work.

It seams that something went missing with your pp on the right hand side of the picture, just above the blue house behind the restaurant. The sky is very different below the power line and in between the two poles. Otherwise, the picture looks nice. The bit of mountains visible at the end of the road I do not think it is Luanda or Lobito. May be Sumbe is a good guess as it is located in a much more mountain region.

Yo Jan!
I like this wide angel shot, with the road running straight up the middle of the frame vanishing into the distance your left with great colours and texture and a scene of daily life. The composition itself is a nice one but I have to agree with the comment below the sky looks a little odd. Cheers

it is indeed a very daily life-shot, and i like a lot the calm and warmth in it, enhanced by the two good friends holding each other. good atmosphere.
