Golyazi (Apollonia) Village

Gölyazı is a village of Bursa city at the shore of Ulubat Lake also known as Apolyont Lake.

Apolyont used to be called "Apollonia ad Rhyndacum" and is now known as " Golyazi ". The lake's name was Artynias or Appolloniatis. Apollon was the protector of the ancient city and this site was the collony of Miletos in the 5th century BC. Afterwards the city was ruled by Romans, Byzantiniens and Ottomans.

Most villagers are fisherman. Colorful fishing boats and Water lilies are taking attraction in the area.
The lake’s natural beauty has to be experienced early in the morning when fishing boats get ready to carry out their daily routines.

İnsanın gözünü okşayan rengarenk bir görüntü...yansımalarla birlikte çok güzel olmuş. Arka plandaki yüksek ağaçlar da ayrı bir hava katmış fotoğrafa. Güzel kompozisyon, tebrikler.

the plenty of colours of those houses make this image so extraordinary! I suppose the inhabitants are happy people because of fishing and the natural beauty of the area. I may imagine the beauty of water lilies into the lake.
