Photographer’s Note
This boy lives in Alakanuk, Alaska. This particular day I had swam with the children of the village in the Alakanuk Slough. It is not the perfectly exposed photo, and I wish the dog was looking at the camera, but it is of a young Native Alaskan, Yupik Eskimo boy with a Husky dog. That in itself makes it very appropriate for this site. I DO like the angle of the shot. It's what I call a "National Geographic Type Photo." I am of-course dreaming!
