Photographer’s Note
I had never been to Yellowstone National Park before, so this was a wonderful adventure for me. The first few days were beautiful and clear. This day was mostly cloudy, with scattered showers. We stopped at Mammoth Hot Springs, and the lighting was flat and grey. As we drove around to the upper terrace, the clouds broke up into varied thicknesses, and the light cast began to change. We ventured out onto the boardwalk, and I looked out over the travertine terraces to see this "other worldly" looking scene.

Hi Matt, well what to say about this impressive place? It's brings back memories, that's for sure!
The colors are nice, that brown grass contrasts nicely with the white in the picture. I'm glad you have a bit of a foreground on the left, and some land as well in the background before way far those mountains begin, otherwise the pic would loose it's balance completely, as it is already tilting to the right.
Beautiful, place, Yellowstone!
