[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Trying to find some colour here in the UK at this time of the year is a hard task, I finished work early and as the sun was shining decided to go to a small village called Gaddesby not far from where I live, and a place I pass through on a regular basis. I have often looked at this scene and promised myself to capture it. The beech hedge and the Chestnut tree provided some colour along with the evergreens in the foreground. The church is made from local sandstone, which gives it the mellow yellow hue.

Hello, Michael.

After a rather disappointing British summer, we have had a few days in autumn where there has been some very nice warm light in the early mornings and afternoons. You have made the most of that in this picture. Very nice warm autumnal colours, both in the foliage and also the stonework. A nice note too.

This picture deserves more recognition than it has thus far received.

Best Wishes,

John.

Good morning, Michael,
Oh, you are right and you found some really great color, too. And captured them beautifully. I love the contrasts in the greens and reds and that blue sky. That fence makes a nice line through the shot, too, with the spire making a nice contrast against the blue. Really pretty shot!! Thansk and have a great weekend,
Shelly

A super image of great clarity and colour backed up by a pleasing composition. Good work youngster.

I am so clad that you took the trouble in taking this picture, as you said it is beautiful for this time of the year, thanks

Nice work Michael capturing what is left of the gorgeous autumnal colours. This looks like the type of place that will look well captured during each season:)

Very fine shot, Michael.
I arrived here a bit late, but the autumn colours still look great. I love the fence in this one, meeting that dense hedge and tree with its autumn colour. The spire emerging from the trees looks marvellous against the light blue sky, and the two trees in the foreground add real depth to the shot. Well done.
Regards,
Andrew
