Durham Cathedral Cloisters Photo

Photographer’s Note

I took this photograph at Durham Cathedral, in the cloisters. I had always loved in photographs when the light almost seemed to glow, and I wanted to capture that with the sun hitting the floor.

This was taken with a Sony 5.0 megapixel Powershot (back in the days when that was a top of the line camera!).

This is a really lovely shot where you have managed the light and shadows so well. The black and white suits the mood. Good perspective.
