Hi Gerrit,
a warm sunlight in an autumnal city, that is the impression I see here. Good POV to take the canal with one boat driving and framing the canal with those natural colours. You are right, that reminds to a forest.

Hallo Gerrit,
Diepe zware kleuren, maar dit keer heel erg goed gebracht. De contrasten zijn zwaar maar drukken nergens de foto dicht, of een piet lut zou rechts nog wat licht op de kade willen hebben. Mooi hoe dat bootje net een spoor trekt in het water, mooi detail.
Beste gedeelte is toch wel dat ligt links op de kade en bomen, het schijnt magisch op...heel mooi.

Wonderful colour contrasts between the reds, yellows & greens of the Autumn foliage, against the blue grey sky. Good sharpness & the canal nicely bifurcates & divides the image. Tfs!

A very pretty perspective along this canal with lovely autumn tones. I like the light and shadow contrasts though I do find the bottom right of the image slightly too dark.

Hi Gerrit, contrast is indeed high here but the low light is magical and the view itself is splendid, I really like Amsterdam and this is another proof how beautiful the city is.

prachtige plaats, mooie zware vette kleuren, de schaduwkant, is jammer genoeg wel erg donker geworden. misschien kun je een volgende keer een beetje spelen met je iso. de 400d kan dat heel goed aan. prettig weekend.

Wonderful varied autumn colours in this shot. The light shining on the trees is great. The right bank is perhaps a little dark. Difficult to bring out detail in the shade though, I appreciate that. Nice work all the same,

j'aime beaucoup la lumière ici et les couleurs d'automne qui donnent une belle photo. Le pont mériterait d'être un peu moins sombre. La texture de l'eau et ses couleurs au premier plan sont plaisantes également.

the composition with the bridge POV overlooking the Gracht and the boat forming that diagonal line in the water is very good. the colorful frame, at least at the left side, with those trees is gorgeous. Some PP to lighten up the right side would be something advisable. It seems to be to dark in that part of the shot.

Dag, Gerrit. De foto is wel een beetje donker aan de rechterkant, maar dit creëert een gevoel van schemerlicht dat niet onaangenaam is. De bomen hebben wondermooie kleuren. Het perspectief is zeer goed en ik zie graag de toren die op de lucht uitkomt aan het einde van je perspectief.

Dag Gerrit,

De herfst kleuren zijn royal aanwezig, dit mag duidelijk zijn.
Het licht onder de brug door zorg voor wat extra's, op deze manier kunnen wij de rimpels op het water zien die gemaakt worden door het bootjes.
Mocht misschien iets meer licht geven op de kade, maar voormij hoeft het werkelijk niet.

un ciel pas des plus favorables, mais je te dirais que tu devrais acquérir l'un ou l'autre filtre qui permet de mieux exploiter ces conditions de lumières.
Des couleurs très fortes, presque trop fortes.
Un endroit bien chois pour montrer le charme des quartiers en bord de canal.
