Hi Daniel,

It is a great composition, but I have to be honest that it does lack focus... I've been working in Manaus, Brazil, where one would find the same patterns and the whole pattern is built up out of little stones, which have a very high contrast on the edges. That's basically what is lacking, but I do like the composition!

It`s irritating indeed and exhaust my eyes....I had only one glass of wine so far and its difficult to follow these curves.A great shot with wonderful graphism.Excellent placement of this man with his bright red shirt,and the pidgeons are nice details in the foreground.A great,creative image.

Bien vu! Les portugais sont les champions des pavements des rues. On a du mal à comprendre si le sol est réellement bombé ou si c'est un effet d'optique. Peu importe du reste, les pigeons et cet homme (et son ombre) avec son polo rouge qui semble danser sur les vagues... c'est une très belle réalisation.

While I love the opitical illusion created by the undulating patters -- phenomenal -- I have to agree with Dennis that the focus is not there. But it is quite a remarkable effect. Best, -Hugh

un classique de Lisbonne, cette place est incroyable et cet homme semble surfer sur des vagues.
Le contraste entre le rouge et le sol est nickel.

Esta bien visto con el tio como esta puesto y ademas su jersey tan rojo destaca superbien. Falta justa un poco de nitidez sobre el.

Un graphisme superbe pour cette place qui semble avoir un grand succès auprès des photographes (c'est la 2ème du même endroit qui me frappe en même pas 48h!). L'homme semble pris dans les 'vagues' et devenir trouble.

Hello Daniel, the effect is very interesting ... not if hypnotic but if showy, it is a simple framing but it is necessary to see it and to shoot that one it is the big merit.

As well as being hypnotized and stuck to the charm of red, i am also on the side of focus demanding members. Graphically superb and a great choice to share, but i also need to frown since this image is an eye killer, makes me astigmatic as well...

Excellent title, it is indeed hypnotic. I did love the beautiful streets and squares of Lisbon. This is a great shot, and you have an excellent eye to catch it. I'm guessing it's quite zoomed in, the reason for the slight blur. Can't complain though. Did you wait for this man in the red t-shirt, or were you just lucky to have such a bright coloured shirt when you composed it?

Salut Daniel, elle est géniale cette photo ! C'est clair qu'elle hypnotise !! Quel graphisme en tout cas, tu as parfitement exploité la scène qui t'était offerte, avec un POV intéressant en hauteur, cet homme en rouge est la touche qui permet de se rattacher et de ne pas trop subir les effets hypnotiques.

Ouah ! Ca fait drôle aux yeux de fixer ce parterre, je suis déjà en lévitation.
Je sens une impression d'ondes flottantes.
Quant au Focus comme ils disent, l'homme est sélectionné sélectivement, le sol moins sharp donne une impression de 'un tapis de velours.
C'est parfait mon ami !

Dentro de tus magnificas fotos, me llama mucha la atención esta. Es un grafismo sin igual, tanto que a simple vista, confunde. La posición distraída del sujeto, las palomas en su interior, y las figuras, establecen una excelente composición.

Hola Daniel,
Esta imagen esta muy bien. La composicion con las palomitas en la parte baja y derecha y el chaval en la parte alta e izquierda; muy trabajada. Desde luego esa camiseta roja le da un buen toque de color.
Si, quizas tengan algo de razon, la imagen parece un poco soft on the eyes.
