A View from San Salvatore
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I took this picture from Monte San Salvatore during my visit to Switzerland. Monte San Salvatore is located in Lugano, in the Ticino area of Switzerland.
This picture shows how small we are compared to mother-nature. Look at what nature has given us! The view is just breathtaking! I strongly encourage all visitors who are visiting Lugano to go up Monte San Salvatore and experience this staggering scenery!
Information on Lugano
-----------------------
Lugano (Latin language: Luganum) is a town (130,000 people in the agglomeration) in the south of Switzerland, in the Italian-speaking canton of Ticino, which borders Italy. The city's warm summers, and the fact that in recent years it has attracted an ever growing number of celebrities, entertainers and successful sports people has given it the nickname of the "Monte Carlo of Switzerland".
The origin of the name is most likely the Latin word Lucus, meaning wood or sacred wood, or more likely Gaulish locovanno "lake dweller". |

Hallo Chaitee!
I've been there several times, but never on a day like "yours". This clear air and the wonderful light gave you the possibility of this great photo! This landscape here truly is breathtaking. Thank you for showing this!
Greetings from winterly Germany!
Frank
Beautiful picture, very clear and full of color. Only one negative comment: the lake is quite not to recognised. I had given more place to the lake.

Hi Chaitee,
Woaw...! Wonderful landscape...! True a postcard..!
Good framing and good POV, good light and pretty colours..!
Best regards,
Patrick
it is very nice scene! i bet u took it at morning. the sunlight is not that strong so that i can see the mountain formation far away clearly. the bonus point is a "red visitor" inside the scene, she attracted my eye and she also adorned this picture colorfully. i will definitely get on this mountain in the future! nice shot!
