– this foto was taken at an altitude of roughly 500 feet above ground level in the Arava valley, between Moshav Paran and the 101 Inn.

There is an abundance of water in the Arava, you just have to find it. This drill site was aiming to drill a couple of thousand feet in order to accomplish its objectives; sweet water. Water in the Arava can be found in wells a few feet from the surface to several thousands of feet underground. Not all water is drinkable.
