Great viewpoint used in this shot. The colours are, as you say, marvellous, and the exposure is terrific. Great sense of space and stillness in this unique landscape.

A fine composition with great depth; I like the positioning of the rocks on a diagonal leading to the distant mountains. Lovely tones and textures, particularly in the foreground rock. Very good sharpness.

Un décor impressionnant ! Les couleurs semblent un peu pâle mais cela n'enlève en rien la beauté du paysage ! Le rocher de gauche est un peu trop présent dans l'image, l'oeil est attiré par lui et ne décroche pas ! Il aurait été plus judicieux de le rendre plus petit dans la compo !

Well this is some different terrain than I've usually seen in pictures of Mongolia - rocky and even some forest. Good use of the wide angle to show the close up view of the rock while also showing us the distant view, giving this a great sense of space. Well done!

I like this, Chris, very well controlled exposure in difficult light conditions, photographing stones in this light isn't exactly easy... Nice deep view, good DoF!

you make the topography very interesting with the inclusion of the rock
the modelling of the sun from the right gives us direction as westerners read a shot..l>r
