Photographer’s Note

This is my first, and late, fireworks picture.
I don't like this subject in photography because I think they look all similar.

But I shot this one and I show it as an experiment I made using 1600 ISO, hoping to capture also people looking at fires.

It is a strange result because this camera in my opinion doesn't work well enough with whites.

At the end I must also tell you that it was a boring night that night... in spite of fire works!

bella e dinamica questa immagine dei fuochi che illuminano la notte. Notevole anche la prospettiva attraverso i tavoli eleganti. Anche se eri annoiata hai fatto davvero un bel lavoro, mi piace molto la luce che aggiunge atmosfera alla foto. Brava.

i fuochi d'artificio hanno sempre attirato tutti in particolare vedo questi commensali molto interessati all'evento . bella la cattura e bei colori ,
stavolta non mi sembra che la canon abbia fatto scherzi

Ciao Livia,
anche a me i fuochi d'artificio non piacciono molto in foto, perche' di solito manca un altro soggetto che faccia da contraltare. Qui pero' c'e' ed e' gradevole! Il risultato e' molto buono! Peccato per la festa noiosa... Dario.

PS In effetti la gestione del bianco in automatico a volte fa degli scherzi. E' la correzione che piu' spesso mi capita di fare in PP. Provo con un WS e vediamo cosa succede.

Fuochi artificiali... mi piace fotografarli da sopra un palazzo, per inserirli nel contesto.
Nella tua foto il contesto c'è, e anche molto vacanziero.
Bene i soggetti sulla sinistra, meno quelli a destra, un pò radi... ;-)

Ciao Livia,
very nice image. I think it came up great. there is a little blur here and there but it shows nicely the fireworks and the people together. Plus i like the settings opf the candles it gives a nice perspective
