A lovely place in a wonderful little town. Slighty chilly, but afterwards I was off for a pint of the good old ale in the town Pub.
Wonderful!

Hi Paul!
A lovely place and a wonderful image.Great POV, an nice foreground with this garden and wonderful warm colors.
Regards,leo

Hi,
Nicely coloured and shows the architectural features like the pantiles and the crowsteps in great detail. There seems to be something going on with the chimneys in the middle distance? but an excellent presentation of this fine place. Thanks.
Dougie.

Very nice picture, colors are beautiful..Stéphane

I have to say I'm not a huge fan of the POV (the taller plants are a bit distracting), but the lighting and mood are fantastic, especially in the foreground.

Hello Paul,
a very nice picture of this beautiful house taken from a good point of view. Good lighting that brings out the lines and the colurs of the building very well.
Pleasing tones and good clarity.
Kind Regards.

Colors are so beautiful here. It looks like a dreamy place that remained in the past. Great cloud in the sky, beautiful composition. I love the yellow wall.

Paul,
Very nice shot with amazing lighting and color. Your composition and POV are fine showing the building with the gardens in front of it. The sharpness and detail of the shot is fine as well.

Asa

Paul,

Looking through your gallery I see you have a varied style across the posts. I am a landscape person more than anything else and while technically very good a lot of styles don't appeal to me. That said I think this is a very good shot. I dare say it is near perfect, colors are warm but not over saturated and the focus is crisp and the dof is nice and deep. Great post, I'll visit again there are others I plan to comment on.

Greg

Beautiful light, the sort one can only find at the higher latitudes. Very nice composition that leads the eye through the picture from the garden to the distant river.

A wonderful shot. As an Englishman this shot makes me feel homesick even though it is north of the border. I haven't been home for 7 years and this shot makes me want to go back as I'm from a village with a similar feel to it in Norfolk. Thanks, PHIL

Hello, Paul.

One of my favourite places! And well captured too. You have caught the lighting just right - the sky, the shadows of the clouds on the buildings, all seem to give it a wonderful 3-D effect.

Excellent!

Best Wishes,

John.

P.S. I've just read your reply to Fara about the technique you used for this - very interesting indeed! And now I realise that you took it with a Sony compact camera, not the 400D. All the more reason for praise!

Hi Paul.

The lighting is so pleasing. Something very magical about this photograph. So much of detail here and the colours are fantastic. Brilliant job.

Hello Paul
Excellent distribution of light. The lit goldenwall on the right is amazing. Nice architecture and point of view is perfect. Colours and details are excellent too. I particularly like the texture of the roofs and the silhouette of the weather vane.
Best regards
Denis!

Hello Paul,
Greetings from Malaysia. Thanks foor visiting my post. You produced a brilliant photo here. The dramatic clouds and blue sky is just great. The texture of the house is seen in details and the pestel colours of the plants in the fore ground complement your shot into a well composed one.
Wonderful, well thought and carefully planned photo.

Regards,
Foozi
